newsnight review this week
I am on Newsnight Review this Friday with Rosie Boycott and Andrew Roberts. Usually its quite fun to go through the items but this week we are reviewing Ayn Rand’s Atlas Shrugged which is more than 1000 pages long and thats with tiny print! My eyes are hurting and my head is throbbing from trying to read the novel. Also under review are a new book by Vince Cable on the economic crisis, a production of The Overcoat and The Damned United.

Hi Sarfraz,
I thought you would get some kind of press pass for Glastonbury so
you could cover the event for work. Is that naive of me to think that
was possible?
Not to rub it in or anything but I thought if there was ever a time
for you to be going to Glastonbury, it would be this year. Also, I know
you try seeing Bruce perform as often as possible but you can’t see him
every time.
As for your blog entries, for a while there weren’t any regular posts
so I thought you stopped blogging and only saw this now. Also, if you
want to know how many people are reading your blog, there are widgets
you can add to your page like view counters that give you some kind of
indication of how many times your blog is being viewed. I have one of
these on my own blog.

Loved your book and bought it for my brother ( both of us being bruce
fans and maybe being too young for the percieved demographic) and look
forward to your review !!!

I was just browsing the web and

Did you see him in Crystal Palace park a few summers ago? Bruce and
Clarence et al could not have seemed more incongurous. It was impossible
for me to assimilate back into my life after the gig, as if I had just
witnessed aliens in my back garden. Glastonbury will be amazing! I am
jealous
